So this place is good on a couple levels: 1) It is within walking distance of the condo we stay at so it's a perfect place for a night cap. They have a couple drinks that are always $3.00 and an ok beer selection. 2) It is more of a bar atmosphere, but they actually have decent food! The fish spread appetizer is good and my husband and I each had a salad (he had the Grouper Caesar and I had the Chicken Salad) and they were both delicious. This place has changed owners several times over the last couple years so some menu items have come and gone, but the basic feel of the place has remained the same. The service has always been good and we will definitely go there again. At the Boardwalk I have: -Played trivia and watched golf -Had a glass of wine on the patio and relaxed while listening to live music -Had waaaaaay too many drinks and ended up with a video of myself wearing a Penguin mascot head. It's a fun place.

.50 cent wings when the Rays play. My aunt has the burger. Very good burger. I had the roast beef on a pretzel roll.

The food is good but it's a bit noisy. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly. I would go again any time.

Literally one of the worst places I've been in years. 10 minutes to get a drink, food swimming in grease and horribly seasoned. Best thing we had was side salad and beer. Complete waste of $40.

The place is legit for the slim pickings of solid, sports bar/social scenes on the island. Food is good and extremely well priced for what is offered. Nightly dinner specials can really make this a draw for locals while ambiance can still cater to a tourist. Owner is a bit wiry and gives the presentation of everything being in a rush. Overall, he could stand another server on the floor and a good stiff drink to calm the nerves. The location has cratered with past restaurant owners and it appears this owner won't ease up on the fear of failure (understood & appreciated but also found annoying when it's so obvious). Smokers enjoy the outdoor seating that links to the main bar here (brings everyone together. Full sports ticket with multiple televisions. Will go back.....

Food was good, staff was pleasant on a Saturday afternoon. More of a beachside bar atmosphere. The meatloaf, fish tacos, and homemade chips are all worth investigation.

Horrible!!! Don't even want to give them 1 star!!! First off our bartender Amy is very rude and Not attentive at all....second, as if i needed one, the owner was walking around as if he didnt know what was going on in his restaurant! Food was ok but wouldn't go back for lack of customer service.

Fun bar and cool bartender. We used to live right behind this place and walking here was always easier to than from. The place is cheap and we used to overindulge by accident constantly, especially when drinks and shots were as low as $3. Crown Royal shots $3? Craziness ensues. A lot of regulars and smokers on the porch - we always had a blast. Just keep in mind that it is a bar first and you'll agree. If you go here looking for delicious food, you are in the wrong place. However, check out my picture of "The Blusher." This was one dirty dog and was awesome with tots.

Found this place for lunch by accident, when headed to the beach at Fort De Soto park. They have a very good selection for lunch take out, which is what we needed for a day at the beach. Staff was very friendly, and quick making our take out order. Gave us some tips for a stay at the beach, which we appreciated. Sandwiches (turkey / ham) had a lot of cheese / meat, good fresh lettuce and tomato on there. Homemade chips were a nice touch with the sandwiches. All in all, a very good place for lunch, whether you want to eat in or take out.

Sat outside. Just had a couple of beers and salads which were very good and very large! Could have shared one. Very quiet pleasant place. Would go back again.

Always a pleasure. It helps that I can walk here but if I had to, a drive-in traffic-would be worth it. The bartender is so nice and the Grouper sandwich is awesome as well. She's cute too.

A little confusion when I ordered for a pickup using this app. I had about a 15-20 min wait before I left with my order. Staff was friendly and considerate. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and asparagus and a bowl of seafood chowder. That entree, gravy and sides were worth the wait. The meatloaf was spicier than I had expected but it was a pleasant surprise. Even the mashed potatoes were excellent. Good size portions, so much that my chowder will have to wait to be tasted.

Boardwalk has a pretty wide selection of grub. Dined here because it was close to my Dad's place & he expressed that there was something for everyone. The Line Up: Fried Green Tomato BLT with side of mashed potatoes (moi) Mahi Mahi Sandwich ( Sister) with fries Coconut Shrimp (StepMom) with baked potato 1/2 Rack of Ribs Special (Dad) fries & slaw Chowder Everyone liked what they ate just fine. My personal feedback on the Fried Green Tomato BLT was it needed some sort of condiment? I asked for ranch (I've recently had a good experience with this as a dipper...who knew) and that was perfect. My mashed taters though, ooooh HELLLOOO SALT! There must have been a few LB's in there. No bueno. I'd eat there again. Nothing spectacular.

Had lunch here several times, prices are fair and the food is great. I suggest the grilled fish tacos...

I'll keep this short, service is horrible. I came in with my dog and sat off to the side of the patio so not to bother anyone. The server after about 10 minutes asked if I was eating lunch then approached me as if I was bothering her by being there. Dropped a menu and walked away. When she finally came back she still didn't ask what I wanted to drink, didn't tell me her name, or ask if I'd been there before, just seemed annoyed I wanted to eat here. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food was good, but I won't be back.

Great place with above average food. Love their bar. I am from Ca on vacation and would come back in a heart beat.

Great burgers today for their 1/2 price 1/2 pounders but the waitress seemed overwhelmed by her job. Didn't cut the mustard and not polite but we love Boardwalk and I'll return but move out of her zone if she's there...

VERY mediocre! Bad service, smells smokey and dirty. The food was so so. Much better places on the beach.

Have really enjoyed this place in the past when vacationing in St Pete Beach. My husband and I convinced my mother-in-law to come here last night over a different restaurant. Our server was Henry, a young male, with very little personality. We could overhear the other server nearby being very enthusiastic and inviting to his guests as we wished we would have been received. Our friend ordered a strawberry daiquiri as she had raved about the one she ordered a few nights before. This was not the same one she received last night-it was sloppy, in a regular glass, no garnishing or any kind. When we asked Henry about the difference his response was-"well the bartender is really busy and different bartenders make drinks differently..." Later as we had our food delivered, I asked about my missing French fries and he replied, "they're really busy back there." Our guests then discussed the various ways he could have possibly replied that would have sounded more customer-service oriented. Needless to say the food is still decent but the service that night ruined our experience, unfortunately. We will definitely choose the other restaurant in the future.

Been here twice - had the fish tacos and now a burger. The food and atmosphere is excellent and the staff friendly. A great restaurant that is away from the riff raff of the main tourist area. Coming back here every time I visit the area! Great for some drinks, too.

Had lunch there today..Our server was great and very attentive, the food was good, much better than bar food. My issue with this place was the cleanliness. The women's bathroom smelled and looked horrible, almost like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. There were tables surrounding ours that hadn't been cleaned off and the flies were swarming our indoor table. I would return since the food was good but hopefully it was just an off day regarding the cleanliness of the place.

I loved this place, first time here. My friend recommended this place to me and her and I are tough on restaurants. I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich which was fresh and delicious, a very generous portion, with crispy hot fries. I also had two ice cold coronas! Beautiful setting outside by some water with fountain, they have and outside bar or you could go inside. It's Florida and I love eating outdoors. The servers were very friendly and personable. I will definitely be back soon!!!

Really good Irish egg rolls. The fried shrimp was large shrimp to make up for being a few less than you may expect. The blackened shrimp my fiancé ordered was also delicious. The salmon and ahi tuna pasta that our guests ordered seemed to be very well liked as well.

Went to Boardwalk on the 4th of July. Thought we were going just for a bite to eat but ended up staying for hours. Amy the bartender was great and Christine the owner came by and chatted with us...very friendly atmosphere. The food was great. Started out with the duck wings served nice and crispy with an Asian dipping sauce and possibly the best Moz sticks I have ever had. My friends and I tried various items on the menu such as the burger with VELVEETA! and the grouper sandwich. Everyone said their food was delicious. I will surely be back!

My family was visiting the area on vacation and got tip from a local to try out the boardwalk. It's located in a strip mall, which made us a little leery at first, but it was all around an amazing experience. The service was awesome and the food was very underpriced for the quality and amount. Try the potato grouper... One of the best fish I've ever had. Oh! And they also have live music, an outdoor patio and a great burger special on Thursday nights. Cheers!

So surprised no one has written of this place. Quite a charming spot on a man-made lagoon close to St. Pete Beach. On Thursdays, they have $2.89 hamburgers (10 oz.) and half off condiments to go on the burger. I had bacon (.50) jalapenos (.50) and Swiss cheese on my fatty. It comes with a side of either Tater Tots, fries, rice/beans or cole slaw. Unfortunately, I chose the slaw, being Southern and all. Nothing to write home about but my friend ordered the rice and beans for her side and they were excellent. This was early afternoon, so not much going on. Waitress was friendly and helpful. She even said farewell to us after leaving the place as she was walking to her car. I'm sure it gets bumping in there at night but we had a nice experience and I wish I had brought my camera to photograph our scrumptious burgers. With several drinks, the whole bill was $30. Not a bad afternoon din din. On Friday's they have All-You-Can-Eat Grouper!! Would like to try that out and get back to they critics on other sites who have complained about the lack of freshness in the seafood.

Tried this place out after the beach and what a surprise. The food is priced honest and so good! The drinks are cheap too. But its hard to see if you don't know the area.

You are pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It looks like your average pub but it is so much more. The menu is diverse with normal pub food like wings and burgers. But they also have osso bucco and potato encrusted grouper. I had the grouper and it was delicious. Seared on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside. My husband had the fish tacos. They served 3 tacos with huge chunks of grilled mahi mahi. He loved it. They have outdoor seating if you don't want to be part of the bar scene which is loud and noisy with lots of TVs going. The outside overlooks a pond with a fountain. Almost every night they have a $3.95 special. That night it was meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and a veggie. My mom ordered it and she said it was killer delicious. The only caveat is you have to order a drink with the special. She had a decaf coffee so she was a cheap date that night. But the prices on the menu are very reasonable and the amount of food is plentiful. Last time we were there I had the house pasta with chicken. It is done in a light cream sauce and is enough for at least two meals. So good.
